Clifton, Hawthorne Cupcake Vendor Aids Family Protection Organization

ORADELL, N.J. -- Mr. Cupcakes is partnering with Children's Aid and Family Services throughout April, and when you purchase a "Maddie cupcake," 50 percent of the proceeds will go to the organization.

"We're thrilled for this partnership with Mr. Cupcakes and so thankful for all of their support," organizers noted. This signature cupcake is only available until April's end.

Maddie is girl who benefited from the CAFS. After spending eight months in a therapeutic group home, staff saw a transformation in the girl who had experienced years of emotional and physical abuse, and it comes in the details, like now asking for hugs.

"Today our employees are wearing CAFS purple to celebrate the Month of the Young Child," CAFS staff noted in a recent Facebook post.

Hackensack -- the Shops at Riversid, 390 Hackensack Ave.

Hawthorne -- 684 Lafayette Ave.

Oradell -- 385 Kinderkamack Rd.
