FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Volunteers from Fair Lawn-based Columbia Bank recently pitched in to serve lunch to their poor and homeless neighbors.
The volunteers served about 300 meals to individuals at Eva’s Village, an anti-poverty non-profit organization in Paterson.
“We are extremely pleased to support Eva’s Village and their charitable mission to feed our poor and homeless neighbors,” said Columbia Bank President and CEO Thomas Kemly.
The bank has also recently issued community grants to Eva’s Village to purchase chairs and tables for its dining room and a new transport van for its culinary arts program.
