And now, he’s helping others achieve similar spooky looks.

Morton has partnered with fellow Halloween-lover Michael Yannette of Mahwah on a new company – HD Halloween -- that offers Halloween home hauntings.

He was also the winner of this year's Daily Voice haunted house competition.

“Just like during Christmas time when you see all those landscapers coming around and decorating houses, we are the FIRST to offer Halloween Home Haunting,” the company’s website states.

“Whether you just want a small scene, a full front yard scene, or even to become the 'Talk of the Town'... Mr. Yannette & Mr. Morton can help you make your haunt dreams become Nightmares,” the websites states.

They offer the service in Bergen, Passaic, Rockland and Orange Counties.

“We’ll set up a great display, this way people don’t have to store it, they don’t have to deal with it,” Morton told Daily Voice.

“I’ll bring you some tombstones, skulls, pumpkins,” he said.

Via its website, the company, that launched in February, also sells unusual Halloween home décor, costumes, props and robotic life-like creatures such as witches, zombies and scarecrows that speak, move or create fog.

“We sell what other people don’t,” Morton said.

Morton and Yannette first met while working at the Spirit of Halloween store in Paramus.

Then Yannette got a look at Morton’s creepy yard, told him about his plans to create the company, and asked Morton if he’d like to invest, Morton said.

At 64, Morton said he is nearing retirement from UPS, and saw the company as a great way to earn retirement income while doing something he is passionate about and helping a friend.

“I invested to help him with his dream,” Morton said.
