Dog Rescue Organization Holding Adoption Event In Hawthorne

HAWTHORNE, N.J.–Grateful Doggies Rescue Retreat members will be at Hawthorne's JB Pet Supplies on Saturday with dogs available for adoption.

Grateful Doggies Rescue Retreat is also holding a "doggie sleepover" event in Orange County, N.Y. this weekend.

"Come meet your new best friend," organizers said.

To fill out an application for pre-approval and to view the dogs that are up for adoption, click here.

"We are having everyone pre-select their dogs and making sure those dogs are at the spot they are picking up from," the organization said in a Facebook post.

The event runs from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

JB Pet Supplies is at 289 Wagaraw Road.
