Group Meeting At Preakness Healthcare Center to Focus on Parkinson's

WAYNE, N.J. -- A Parkinson's support group will meet at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Preakness Healthcare Center, 305 Oldham Road, according to a release on the Passaic County website.

Among those attending the group session will be Margaret Nysk of Passaic County's Senior Services Department.

Nysk will discuss information about her office and the assistance it can provide.

The meeting is open to anyone with Parkinson's disease, their caregivers and family members. New members to the group are welcome as well.

According to organizers, the group's aim is to help those affected by Parkinson’s disease to share experiences and offer support. A free hot lunch will be served.
