CLIFTON, N.J. -- The only thing better than a stack of IHOP pancakes drenched in butter and syrup is when everything on the plate is free.
Clifton's IHOP on Route 3 West is giving away a short stack of pancakes at no charge until 10 p.m. on Tuesday to celebrate National Pancake Day.
IHOP is asking patrons to make a donation to any of their charitable partners in exchange for the free stack.
Money raised goes toward a $3.5 million goal of helping children battling critical illnesses.
The Clifton manager said they've been busy all day but are ready to handle the hungry crowds.
