What Makes It "Strong": Jon and Rhonda Mallek source their coffee from a local roaster who processes the Fair Trade and organic beans in small batches.

Specialty blends rotate -- February is devoted to love-themed concoctions -- but the house favorite is always available.

The coffee menu overflows with creative mixups, from the Crazy Carmello (caramel coffee with marshmallows and caramel sauce) to "That's What's She Said" (vanilla and cinnamon flavored coffee with two espresso shots).

Cozy seating welcomes long chats and study sessions and community artists are featured monthly, along with story hours and other events.
