WAYNE, N.J. — Disabled twins from Wayne had their Christmas wish of getting a dog that was just like them granted Tuesday morning.
Both Tianna and Gianna Johnson, 10, are legally blind — Gianna also has autism.
They got pit bull Carmela as a donation from grooming salon owner Sandy Roberto, who found the dog.
"[My daughters] always say 'never pass up a chance to play or talk to someone who is differently-abled," the twins' mom, Dana Polito Corry, told Daily Voice, "because they may become your best friend."
