ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — The night before Englewood's Charlie Murphy succumbed to leukemia, he sent out one last tweet about letting go.
"One to Sleep On: Release the past to rest as deeply as possible."
Murphy, 57, kept his battle with leukemia a secret, but often tweeted inspirational and thought provoking quotes.
Among Murphy's most popular sketches on "Chappelle's Show" was the one of him telling a story of how Prince crushed him on the basketball court.
Now, fans are wishing the comedian luck in the rematch up in heaven.
