Cecere, a Hawthorne native, turns 56 ton Friday.
Cecere, a Canadian actor, known for his roles in "Watchmen" and "A Cinderella Man" was born on March 11, 1960 in Canada.
He moved to Hawthorne in 1973 and graduated from Hawthorne High School in1978. He also is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles, and Southwestern Law School.
He's made appearances in The X-Files (1993), Stargate SG-1 (1997) and Smallville (2001).
The he wrote, produced, directed and acted in the short film, "The Regular Guy," which won several film festival awards.
Currently, he is working on a new self-written film project.
