Born and raised in Passaic, Rosenberg will be 65 Oct. 4.
Best known as an actor of stage and screen, Rosenberg was the 24th president of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) from 2005 - 2009. Formerly married to actress Marg Helgenberger, whose mother lived with breast cancer for 27 years, he hosts Marg's and Alan’s Celebrity Weekend to benefit breast cancer causes every year in Omaha, NE.
Rosenberg is known for the character Eli Levinson of two television series, Civil Wars and L.A. Law, and he also voiced the popular Star Wars villain Boba Fett in a public television adaptation of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strkes Back.
