Thousands Pour In For Pompton Lakes Family After House Fire

POMPTON LAKES, N.J. – Pompton Lakes is rallying around a local family who lost their home in a fire.

“The Burwells have 3 children who lost all their belongings as well as their home,” states a GoFundMe page created to raise funds for the family.

“This family is always willing to help out anyone in need so at this time we are looking for monetary donations to help this family get back on their feet quickly,” the page states.

The campaign, created by Erin Kummerfeldt in late August, had already garnered nearly $33,000 in donations by Monday afternoon.
