PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. — Here's a look at the five stories that topped Passaic County news last week:

DWI CRASH : A 9-year-old boy was critically injured Thursday in a Wayne crash involving five cars that police said was caused by a drunk driver, authorities said.

RHONJ ARREST : Detectives and U.S. Marshals arrested two men on murder, arson and robbery charges Monday night in connection with the killings of two others who were found on a Paterson street in a burning car owned by "The Real Wives of New Jersey" guest Kim DePaola, authorities said Tuesday.

SUPERMARKET WARS : The Wayne Hills Mall is being torn down and the ShopRite on Hamburg Turnpike is hoping to occupy most the former space, Mayor Chris Vergano said.

BUS THEFT : A teenage bus rider pretended to lose his cellphone as he got off in Clifton so he could snatch cash from the driver's hand while everyone was distracted, authorities charged.

SCAM FOILER : A Little Ferry man accused of claiming to be a utility worker checking the furnace Wednesday chose the wrong target: Elmwood Park Mayor Robert Colletti.
