PATERSON, N.J. -- The Paterson Armory must be demolished following a seven-alarm fire that raged for more than 10 hours yesterday, Nj.com reported.
Fire officials said although the building still was standing by late afternoon, there was no way to put out the fire without knocking it down, Nj.com reported.
The Armory has not been used by the military since March 1983, and hasn’t been used for any purpose since 1990, the story said.
