CLIFTON, N.J. – Passaic County is warning drivers who usually take Valley Road in Clifton to plan an alternate route for the remainder of May.

Starting Wednesday, gas main construction operations will take place on Valley Road from the Montclair boarder to Adams Terrace, and the construction will lead to a combination or detours and alternating traffic for about a month, according to the county.

“It is highly recommended that travelers plan an alternate route to avoid inconvenience,” a release from the county stated.
