SOUTH PASSAIC, NJ -- On Barclay Street, 42 apartments are being built that will serve as dorms for students from a New York-based medical school who are going through training at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center.
The dorms, according to officials at New York Medical College, will be open in January.
The building will include both studio and one-bedroom apartments. The housing is meant for the short term while students are training at the center.
