The Postal Service suspended operations at the Dundee Station Post Office at 122 Eighth Street in 2015, when the grocery store it was located in closed and the post office’s lease was terminated.

Postal officials say they want to open a new location as close as possible to the former Dundee Station site.

“A new location will enable the Postal Service to maintain and improve service to the community,” the Postal Service stated in a press release.
