Christopher and Peri Balala were married on April 30, 2016, and by January they still had not received their wedding video from Stix Productions, the story says. When the couple looked up the address for the company’s owner – Edward Aghahowa – they learned that he and his wife, Julie Matte, were dead, the story says.

Authorities determined that Aghahowa shot his wife on October 26, then killed himself, the story says.

Christopher Balala, who is an attorney, tried to obtain the footage from the estates, to no avail, and has since filed a lawsuit in Warren County Court seeking the footage, the story says.

According to the article, the footage is special because it features Peri Balala walking down the aisle with her now-ill father, and the couple’s now-deceased dog as the ring-bearer.
