MAN JAILED FOR BEATING PUPPY: A Wayne man on Tuesday admitted beating a 7-month-old puppy to death with a kitchen chair during an argument with his girlfriend – in exchange for a one-year prison sentence.

STEP-DAUGHTER ASSAULT: Jurors in Paterson on Wednesday convicted a Passaic man of sexually assaulting his stepdaughter when she was 14 and he was 26.

GOOD EATS: The restaurant industry is all Nick Gjevukaj of Norwood has ever known. He runs a Little Falls restaurant and several others with his family.

ASPERGER'S AIDS PHOTOGRAPHER: Alan Goldberg of Hawthorne always had intense focus. He recently learned it is because he has Asperger's Syndrome. 

EMACIATED DOG DIES: An emaciated dog who was tossed from a moving vehicle in Paterson died early Friday morning at the Oradell Animal Hospital.
