Woodland Park Woman, 21, Nearly Drowns In Ocean

WOODLAND PARK, N.J. – A Woodland Park woman was nearly drowned in Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ.com reports.

Nisha Desai, 21, and another woman were pulled from the water by beachgoers on Monday, the story says.

Lifeguards are on duty in Avon during weekends, but won’t start patrolling during weekdays until June 20, the story says.
