YOUNG HUMANITARIAN : A youngster from Ringwood was named the ASPCA's "Kid of the Year."

POLICE NEED HELP: Clifton police sought the public's help finding a trio who mugged a man on a city street.

FIRE FUNDRAISER: A group of women from Ringwood and Oakland have launched a fundraiser to aid employees out of work from a diner fire, most of whom are single moms.

DRUG MARKET: Wayne police responding to complaints of juveniles buying marijuana and hash in an open-air drug market arrested a 24-year-old township man on distribution charges.

FIREFIGHTERS HURT: Three Paterson firefighters were taken to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston with injuries that included burns to their heads from a three-story house fire, authorities said Sunday.
