CLIFTON, N.J. — Angela Maria Marquez of Clifton died on Nov. 16, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 41 years old.
Angela is survived by her husband, David Malave; her two daughters, Mariana and Luciana Malave; her parents, Jaime and Alba Ines Valencia Marquez; her brother Daniel Marquez; and several extended family members and dear friends.
More than $10,400 had been raised as of Saturday evening on a GoFundMe page for Angela.
Born in Cali, Colombia, she has lived in Clifton for the last six years. She worked as a project manager with Stone Truss Systems of Fairfield for the last 15 years.
Angela was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church in Paterson. She loved painting, drawing, photography and playing her guitar.
Angela found the greatest joy in caring for her children.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday 3 p.m., at St. Mary R.C. Church, 410 Union Ave., Paterson. Cremation will be private.
