ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Daniel A. Lesko, of Elmwood Park, died on Friday, Jan. 20. He was 85.
Born in Passaic, he’s been a resident of Elmwood Park for the past 50 years. He worked for Bell Atlantic in Newark for 23 years, retiring in 1996. Prior to Bell Atlantic, he worked for Curtis Wright in Elmwood Park for 17 years.
He was a Korean War Veteran and a member of VFW Post 5084 in Elmwood Park.
Lesko is survived by his wife, Winifred (Gilday); children Daniel Lesko and Susan Yamroz; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, 274 Market St., in Elmwood Park. Cremation will be private.
