HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- George R. Hollenbeck Jr., 86, of Hawthorne, died Oct. 1.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as part of the ASA.
For 42 years, he worked for PSE&G and retired as the office manager at 62. He was a former Boy Scout leader.
He is survived by his son, David B. Hollenbeck and his wife Susan; grandchildren, Heather, Victoria, Elizabeth, David; great-grandchild, Olivia; and brother, Robert Hollenbeck and his wife Rose.
He was predeceased by his son, George R. Hollenbeck III.
The funeral service will be at noon Tuesday at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
