CLIFTON, N.J. -- Janet Alexander, 61, of Clifton, died Friday, Sept. 16. She was 61. She was born July 31, 1955, in Jersey City. She was raised in Rutherford and graduated from St. Mary High School.
After high school, she attended Glassboro College and received a BA degree. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and birds.
She is survived by her mother, Lottie; and her siblings, Marie Alexander, Arthur Alexander, Leona Heinrich and Susan Adragna.
There will be a memorial Mass of Christian Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford.
