CLIFTON, N.J. -- John E. Tarakjian, of Clifton, died on Wednesday, Oct. 12. He was 62.
Before he retired, Tarakjian worked in the maintenance division for Passaic County. He was a parishioner of St. Paul Church in Clifton. He participated in Special Olympics in Paterson, and enjoyed video games and collecting baseball cards.
Tarakjian is survived by his brother, Joseph Tarakjian and his wife Joann, and he was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary (Doomany) Tarakjian.
Visiting hours will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Rd., in Fair Lawn, with a service following. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Totowa.
