CLIFTON, N.J. -- Mark Steven Schabel died Aug. 22. He was 61.
He was born and raised in Clifton.
He loved fishing and cooking, and had been employed as a chef at the world-famous Tavern on the Green in New York City.
He is survived by his sister, Janet Hill and her husband Steven; and his brother, Gregory Schabel and his wife Diane; and nieces and nephews, Scott, Joseph, Kyle, and Kara.
Private funeral services were conducted
