CLIFTON, N.J. – Paul D. Schwartz, a resident of Clifton, died. He was 87.
Schwartz attended the New York Military Academy and earned a degree in economics from Rutgers University. He served his country in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was stationed at Fort Belvoir.
He was president of commercial trucking and commercial warehouses and was the founder of Bunker Hill Warehouse in Paterson. He was an active member and board of life trustee in the Veritans Club and gave much of himself to the club and camp. He also was president of the American Warehousemen's Association, as well as vice president and chairman of the expansion committee at the Glen Rock Jewish Center.
He is survived by his wife Carole, along with son David and his wife Lisa with their two children Steven and Daniel.
