WAYNE, N.J. -- Theresa Hucke, 74, of Wayne, died Saturday, Nov. 5. She was 74.
She was born in Paterson, to her parents Mary Lontine and Anthony Argentieri. She grew up in North Haledon and graduated from Hawthorne High School.
She worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone in Paterson from 1961-63 before becoming a wife and homemaker. She later joined her husband in operating their family business, Mayfair Home Improvement Co in Hawthorne until 2013. She enjoyed travel, cruising, reading and most of all, cooking big Italian meals for her family. She loved spending time at their second home in South Palm Beach, Fla. at "Southgate" where they had wonderful times and made many good friends.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene K; daughter, Gina Bunting and her husband Tom; grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew and Mara; and her sister Mary Arena.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff. Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to your favorite charity.
