Born in Paterson, to the late Carmine and Frances (D’Argenio) DeVito, she was a talented seamstress with a flair for fashion. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed parties and dancing. Prior to her retirement, she worked at T-Bowl Cleaners in Wayne. She was a member of the North Haledon Golden Age Club and a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Signoretti and her husband Gene; grandchildren, Deborah Oliveri and her husband Joseph and Jennifer Signoretti; great-grandson, Matthew Oliveri.
She is predeceased by her husband, James Dittamo; sisters, Josephine Dittamo and Anna Vancheri; and her brother, Carmine DeVito.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday from 3:30-7:30 p.m. at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. mass at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Franklin Lakes. Entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
