A judge ordered Alexander Santucci, 31, of Cedar Grove and John Trocano, 36, of Bloomfield held on $50,000 bail each in the Passaic County Jail.

Clifton detectives charged both with robbery and bias intimidation for the robbery of two men after they got out of a cab on Ridgewood Road around 5:30 a.m. Nov. 13, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.

"The victims were both assaulted and one of them was relieved of personal property," Bracken said. "The suspects then fled the area in a vehicle.

"It was apparent that the victims had been followed from the area of Allwood Road to the location where the incident took place."
