A judge ordered Allen Q. Young, 21, held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with drug distribution.

Investigators determined that Young “was involved in the distribution of controlled dangerous substances, namely heroin, in Bergen County,” Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Tuesday.

He was taken into custody by Grewal’s investigators and Paramus police after selling 20 bricks of heroin to an undercover officer on Monday, the prosecutor said.

An Oct. 12 arraignment was scheduled.
