CLIFTON, N.J. -- A driver was hospitalized after being extricated from a lawn care box truck that slammed into a Clifton storage unit building early Wednesday.

Clifton firefighters freed the driver while dealing with downed wires after a pole was also struck at 515 Broad Street.

A heavy wrecker was needed to pull the truck from the building. Hazardous materials workers were called, as well.
