The woman told police she was walking in the driveway of 743 Passaic Avenue just after 7 a.m. when she was attacked, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.

Her assailant fled toward Allwood Road, she told police.

She described him as black and in his 20s or 30s.

This comes two weeks after a 20-year-old Clifton woman told city police a mugger on Horbart Place punched her in the head and stole her wallet after she refused to give it up.

Bracken asked that anyone who was in the area and might have seen or know something that will help investigators called the Clifton Detective Bureau at (973) 470-5908.
