HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN? The FBI is bending one of its rules to publicize the photo of a Wayne man arrested on charges of trying to meet a minor for sex, in case there are other potential victims.
Eric Fantua was arrested on Jan. 15 by agents from the bureau’s New York City division.
“As you are aware, the FBI does not typically release photographs of persons arrested,” the FBI said in a news release. “A rare exception is being made in this instance for the exclusive purpose of identifying potential victims of the defendant.
“Anyone who believes they may have additional information to provide, or feel they are a victim or witness in this investigation, should contact the FBI – New York Division at: 212-384-1000.
“This email or release of the photograph does not constitute proof of guilt on the part of the defendant.”
