Gary Kazanjian was taken there after falling on 91st Street in the city, sustaining cuts and bruises, Police Capt. Laurence Martin said.

It wasn't immediately clear how he got across the George Washington Bridge, Martin said.

"His family has been notified and is responding to the hospital," the captain said just before 5 p.m.

Kazanjian left his Preakness Avenue home on the east side of town roughly eight hours earlier, he said.
