PATERSON, N.J. – Police were searching for a killer who riddled the victim with bullets overnight Sunday on a Paterston street.
A Shotspotter activation brought city police to North Main and Jefferson streets, where they found 22-year-old Davon Owens shot dead just after 2 a.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Deputy Paterson Police Chief Heriberto Rodriguez said in a joint announcement before noon Sunday.
They asked that anyone with information that could help catch Owens’s killer call a tips line at 1-877-370-PCPO or firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the Paterson Police Detective Bureau: (973) 321-1120 .
All communication will be kept confidential, they said.
