One Hospitalized In Police-Involved Shooting In Paterson

PATERSON, N.J. -- A civilian was being treated for injuries sustained in a police-involved shooting Thursday morning in Paterson, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said just after 1 p.m.

No other injuries were reported, she said.

Valdes said she activated her Shooting Response Team to investigate the 9:30 a.m. shooting in the area of Levine Street at Main Street, down the street from St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center.

"The scene has been secured and the investigation is active and ongoing," she said.
