One Wounded, Shooter Sought In Hawthorne

HAWTHORNE, N.J. – A 27-year-old Paterson man was shot in Hawthorne before dawn Thursday, said authorities who were searching for the person responsible.

The victim was shot in the are of 55 Westervelt Avenue around 5:20 a.m., authorities said.

He was treated at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson.
