Officers were alerted to the black 2016 Chevy Camaro, which ONSTAR said was at the Valley National Bank on Black Old Ridge Road, Capt. Laurence Martin said.

Officers Brendan Rigler, Anne Shivas, Scott Agnes Jon Culic and Dennis Paylo quickly converged on the car.

"I borrowed it from a friend of a friend," driver Latroy Spaulding, 27, told them several times, Martin said.

OnStar confirmed that the vehicle was stolen out of Philadelphia, and Spaulding was arrested on receiving stolen property charges, the captain said.

He was later released on a summons, Martin said.
