Overnight Fire Blows Through Roof Of Hawthorne House

HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- Two firefighters were injured and several people displaced by an overnight house fire in Hawthorne.

Firefighters from several departments battled the three-alarm blaze, which broke out just before 2:30 a.m. on Sunrise Drive.

It took them two hours or so to douse the flames, which blew through the roof.

Firefighters from Wyckoff, Glen Rock, North Haledon and Prospect Park were among the responders.
