Passaic Sheriff: Clifton Dealer Had 1½ Pounds Of Cocaine

CLIFTON, N.J. -- Passaic County sheriff's detectives seized a pound and a half of cocaine, along with some heroin and $2,300 in drug proceeds, while arresting an accused Clifton dealer.

Investigators who targeted Andy Hernandez, 25, took him into custody around noon Thursday and searched his Crooks Avenue home, finding $30,000 worth of drugs, Passaic County Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik said.

Hernandez was being held without bail in the Passaic County Jail pending a detention hearing.
