Paterson PD Busts 3, Seizes 1,100 Bags Of Heroin, Pound Of Pot, Coke, Crack

PATERSON, N.J. – Raids at two Paterson apartments turned up more than 1,100 bags of heroin, nearly a pound of pot and roughly four ounces each of crack and powdered cocaine, authorities said.

Members of the Paterson Narcotics Division turned up the drugs and arrested three men after raiding residences at 490 Park Avenue and 83-85 N 5th Street (inset) just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, city Police Director Jerry Speziale said.

They also seized four scales and various items bearing drug residue, as well as nearly $6,000 in alleged proceeds, he said.
