The adult was ordered held on $500 bail, while two boys -- one 17, the other 15 -- were released to their parents pending hearings in the Family Division of Superior Court in Hackensack, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said Thursday.

The offenses involved possession and distribution of pot and pills, along with possession of a digital scale, grinder and other drug paraphernalia, Ehrenberg said.

Acting on a tip, Detectives Glenn Pagano and Paul Siemon of his department’s Vice/Narcotics Unit began were watching the area when they saw the two older teens sell drugs to the younger boy on Primrose Lane, the chief said.

A search turned up marijuana, Celexa and the drug dealing items, he said.

"The investigation is still active and other arrests are expected," Ehrenberg said.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to call Paramus Police at (201) 262-3400 or use its anonymous TIPS app: www.paramuspolice.org.
