You can thank Police Chief David Murphy and Officer Kyle Ferreira.

"I wanted to do something for outreach to the public when they search us online as well as when they come to headquarters," Murphy told Dailiy Voice.

"I asked Officer Ferreira to create a video, as he is well-skilled in drones and computers," the chief said.

"You can see the finished product," he said proudly.

Among the videos and still images are glimpses of Wyckoff from the air and officers playing basketball with youngsters, talking with schoolchildren in class and conducting a bicycle safety session.

You also get to ride shotgun with an officer and take a virtual-reality peek into a simulated active shooter drill.

There's even a GoPro view from a police cruiser.

The video tops the Wyckoff Police Department Facebook page and plays on a loop in the lobby at headquarters (1 Scott Plaza).

"I couldn't be happier with the end result," Murphy said. "It's a great snapshot of what we do and how we are an integral part of our community."
