Raelito Palao was found guilty Wednesday of sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said.
“The three minors were the children of Mr. Palao’s family friends,” she said.
They're now in their 20s, authorities said.
Palao, who was arrested in 2013 after one of the girls came forward, could face a 10-year state prison for the sexual assault charge alone 00 85% of which he would have to serve before becoming eligible for parole.
He would also have to register under Megan’s Law and undergo parole supervision for life once he is released.
Sentencing was scheduled for Jan. 20, 2017.
