Wayne Benefit Honors Late Police Officer Whose Wife Is Expecting Twins

WAYNE, N.J. — The Protectors LE Motorcycle Club will be holding a Wayne benefit honoring Joseph Wenskoski, a New Jersey police officer who died after a year of battling cancer. He was 36.

Wenskoski of North Plainfield was born in Edison, where he had been working as a patrolman in Edison for about two years. His wife is expecting twins next month.

The event will feature food, music, raffles and vendors, and will be held at the American Legion on Mountainview Boulevard from noon to 6 p.m., on Aug. 19.
