Wayne Police: Massachusetts Man Inappropriately Grabbed Woman In Club

WAYNE, N.J. -- Surveillance video captured images of a Massachusetts man inappropriately grabbing a woman who ignored him on the dance floor of a Wayne nightclub, authorities said.

The victim and a witness said 21-year-old Jacob O'Maley of Rockport approached them on the dance floor of Mother's "in an effort to dance with them" around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Capt. Laurence Martin said.

They ignored him, "resulting in O’Maley reaching from behind and offensively touching the victim," Martin said.

Wayne police arrested O'Maley on charges of criminal sexual contact and harassment.

He was released to a responsible adult pending a court hearing.
