WAYNE, N.J. -- Wayne police are hoping the public can help find the driver of a car that struck a pedestrian before dawn Saturday, leaving him hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Mirko Oldja, 36, of Totowa, sustained serious head injuries after he was struck just before 4:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Parish Drive, Sfc. Peter Pohludka said.
