CLIFTON, N.J. -- An unlicensed Wallington driver who climbed from an overturned car in Wayne Sunday night was evaluated at the hospital -- and then charged with driving a stolen vehicle.
Xavier Viera, 33, was first taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center and then brought to townshp police headquarter after the 8 p.m. crash on Hamburg Turnpike, Capt. Laurence Martin said Monday.
The car had been reported stolen out of Passaic, Martin said.
Viera was released on summonses charging him with receiving stolen property, careless driving and not having a license, the captain said.
